It all started when…

I had an idea to develop a jewelry line inspired by the rich pirate history of the Coquillards, brigands who trolled the French high seas looking for treasure in the 1600’s. Fortunately, my sister-in-law, the cutie below, a Coquillard and a 30-year veteran of the jewelry business, helped me launch the debut La Mer collection. Coquillard & Co. has grown from its seashell-inspired roots, but the new designs still reference the pirate spirit of high adventure, lure of exotic locales and passion for beauty.
